Analysis
- Numbers continue last months trends consistently, each cert with the same growth relative to the rest.
- Except the PSOE, as it’s the last cert to come and thus its growth has been stabilizing: 125%-22%-10%.
- Total MoM growth stabilizes at around 16k new certs every month, after 21K peak on December, as many programs have an end date on new year.
- PMLE continues to have notable growth among professional certs, not so far from PDE
- ACE and PCA certs see higher growth at the beginning of the year, rather than at the end, while being some of the most common certs
- Maybe because specialized certs are more sought after at the end of the year for specialization programs
- GAIL continues to outperform CDL in new certs by large, around 5x growth and 13% MoM vs 1%, being around 50% CDL total certs
- While knowledge about networking is usually a prerequisite for security roles, PCSE growth is 2x PCNE, which is the least growing cert
- Seems to highligh the higher demand for security roles than networking
- New (~1.5 year old) ADP and AGWA certs didn’t seem to be such a hit at firts, but percentage growth at 6-8% is quite consistent
